Opening in 2015 we are a fully independent establishment which means we can rewrite the book on how things are done. In our events spaces we are committed to awesome live shows that have attracted international artists and DJs. Over the last few years The Golden Lion has become a destination point on the North’s touring circuit.

We are located right in the heart of Todmorden, a semi rural town in the North of England. Whether you chose to lounge by the canal, hang out in the cosy beer garden, sample some delicious Thai food, or even visit our pub within a pub, Tor Beers, you’ll have a fun and unique experience.
