Golden Lion Sounds is the record setup by The Golden Lion. A mad idea born in crazy times to release music on vinyl by artists who visit the venue. As of the end of 2022 we are on our 13th release GLS013 a 10″ Ep from Magnets (Rap Group) & Pro-Verbs.

The specialist record label releases on a bi-monthly a series of exclusive seven inch vinyl records, all limited and numbered featuring musicians and DJs who have played live or DJ-ed at The Golden Lion since its inception. So far Working Men’s Club, Goa Express, W H Lung, The Lounge Society, David Holmes, Jarvis Cocker, The Emperor Machine, Jane Weaver, Andy Votel, Crazy P and more have all contributed tracks which have been mastered by local solo artist and engineer Andrew Liles.
